It introduces AEE, an underutilized tool to prove racism in court. Based on a nationwide survey of defense attorneys, it explores AEE's utility, identifies barriers to its use, and offers strategies to overcome them, aiming to begin to level the evidentiary playing field for criminal defendants.

The best day-and-a-half of the year is always the Evidence Summer Workshop! We had everything from formal modeling to queer theory to analytic philosophy to doctrinal analysis. Thanks to my co-organizers Ed Cheng, Julia Simon-Kerr, and @alexnunn.bsky.social.
The ESW participants, about 40 beautiful people, lined up on the front steps of Vanderbilt Law School.
