That is a real contract, even if a court doesn't recognise it.

But it's always important to have that out if it's absolutely needed, and to only make contracts with a dominant that has your absolute trust.

I know it's a joke, but kink contracts should never hold up in court.

But that doesn't mean they aren't important, a legal contract isn't the only contract that matters.
