I’ve written like 10k words in the past four days and now my brain is alphabet soup. But hey the novella is done

This synopsis is doing strange things to me.

I broke it up into sections and I called the climax bit “It All Boils, Baby” and I know that’s not that funny but I cannot stop laughing every time I read it.

It’s very distracting.

The absurdity of the profession I’ve chosen: being deliriously excited because I managed to cut out 10 words because I only get one page for a synopsis

“Must’ve been a hell of a lie,” I wrote, forgetting this is a fantasy world where Christianity does not exist, let alone the concept of hell.

Hhhhhhh this one chapter has been kicking my ass for a week but let it be known it did not win (which is to say it’s written now)

I think my memory is stored in my spine. 23 is the C7 vertebrae. 19 is T4. And somewhere down in the lumbar are all the memories too old for my brain to remember

I was re-reading what I wrote last night and…

“I ripped the arrow out of the wood and shoved it back in the quill.”

You know. The quill. Famously where you put arrows.
