14th amendment barring election was not invoked because he was never criminally convicted of engaging in an insurrection before he was elected. To bar him without said conviction would arguably be a violation of the due process clause of the same 14th Amendment.

You really think if we try that it would past the hurdles? No it wouldn't. Its would just be another distraction for people like you to bash the Democrats on when the real reason we lost is my party (Democrats) didn't vote. That is why we lost. We wouldn't need the 14th amendment if my party voted.
