We've now had the same thing happen twice in the past few weeks. With New York Attorney General James, as with former FBI Director Comey, Donald Trump publicly demanded prosecution of a perceived enemy and made it happen over the objections of career prosecutors, which is beyond dangerous. 🧵

This cannot be allowed to be normalized. The president demanding his perceived opponents be indicted and using his power to ensure it happens is deeply dangerous.

It's hard to overstate how alarming NY AG Letitia James's reported indictment is.

This is the second time in weeks that a political opponent of Trump has been indicted, at his urging, against the advice of career prosecutors and Trump's own appointees. www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...

Paying out $700,000 so a kid can’t read a book titled, “This Book is Gay“ is not a great ROI on censorship, imo.

Hey man, I'll be honest - cutting Congressionally appropriated programs based solely on political affiliation is a pretty bad way to run the government.

So this is funny.
The administration just issued a rule slashing foreign agricultural worker wages. And to justify it, in a public filing, Trump's Labor Department alleges that Trump's immigration enforcement has devastated the Ag workforce and caused a "risk of supply shock-induced food shortages."

BREAKING: DHS Secretary Kristi Noem stares down army of Antifa and a guy in a chicken suit from the rooftop of the ICE facility here in Portland.
Noem says:
"Hey; Guy in the chicken suit. You can do better.
Too bad they are uneducated and ill-informed."
Noem isn't chicken: [chicken emoji] A view from the roof of the building. There are about 15-20 people visible in total, several of whom appear to be reporters. Most are holding signs. They aren’t even taking up the whole sidewalk. One guy is wearing a chicken suit.
