Blender WIP screensnip of my elf OC rathi whose eyes have just been glued onto the 3d model(basically) There is an odd abstract maze wall in the background as well as her reference sheet. Her skin is fairly pale, and her eye are yellow with purplish dark lashes and brows.

I resize the same brush constantly only switching if I need a new texture or the like. Probably my most common hotkey, I adjust the strength/opacity a lot too.

Burggeist was a quite fun experience. It's a sort of action tower defense thing? Calm exploring(with explosions) then bits of defense segments. Cool world to walk around in :)

I used to be able to, but it's harder now for some reason.
Out of practice I guess. Worldbuilding is easier and comfy, but sometimes it starts to feel pointless without actually doing something.

Does chalk work for temp marking on that material? Used it a fair bit with cloth, unsure if it'd be fine for felt or not.

a line up of all of her different types of clothing. no cape. cape and hat. cape, hat and blindfold. cape, hat and veil.
She has a white toga like cloothing with a orangy studded leather underneath. her skin is pale and her eyes are black with blue light. Her hair is blonde.

ok so little lore: she is undead and tries to hide her pale skin as much as possible. She poses as a priest, a cleric, but is actually a warlock who has become the "pet" of her patron, a Dao-Djinn by the name of Mukīl rēš Lemutti.

its not shown, but she is crafty with the bow and uses a dagger for self defence, the dagger that was used to kill her way beck when.

1 and 3 both seem very interesting to me. I do enjoy the fake game thing, I was thinking about making a pair of First person arms for one of my OC's to be able to do bits like that!

Just making set dressing.

A blue checkered table with wood panels is lined with geometric dishes holding a rib roast, multiple haunches of something, a few steaks and porkchops, potatoes and tomatoes. So far.
The floor is triangularly patterned and the wall is kinda strange right now tbh.

Oils and a limited palette facilitate that way of painting pretty well I think. Hard to mess up with the limited palette, plenty of time to fix it with the oils.

Blender giving you trouble? Recalculate your normals. Takes 3 seconds and is like 20% of my problems.

It's very easy to do the wiggle effect in blender as well with grease pencil! I enjoy the effect :)

Just hanging around in a low poly discord helping people. I think a fair few of them are getting into art in general via it. So I think it's gonna be common for them to do things exactly at first. I hope they differentiate themselves in time though.
