I've been to 65 countries including Venezuela under Chavez. The only countries I would consider less functional than Venezuela that I've been to would be the Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Uzbekistan, and Haiti.

Does Bluetooth connecting ever actually work for anyone else? I feel I spend more time trying to figure out why my devices will no longer pair than actually using it.

I just ran a 6:43 mile. That is 27 seconds faster than my personal record of 7:10 which I set when I was 17.

I am legitimately bummed out by the Mariners losing. I have no beef with the Blue Jays outside of them being in the Red Sox division, but the Mariners have such devoted fans who kept the faith through so many years of heartbreak and failure, that they deserved to have something to celebrate for once

I would like someone to compile a statistical record for the performance of boxers wearing regular trunks versus those skirt style trunks. I legitimately think I've seen the dude wearing the skirt trunks win maybe twice. Demarcus Corley may have singlehandedly skewed this.

The Massachusetts flag commission approved a seal that got the name wrong as a direct rip off the flag of Yorkshire. I'm not sure how they could have done a worse job here.

Four times in the last 18 months a poodle mix has randomly lunged at me on the street. This time it actually bit me. Kind of grazed my elbow with its teeth and didn't actually hurt or break the skin, but holy shit I am mad. The owners were apologetic and handled it well but I'm still pissed.

Watching the difference between Iranian Air Defense over Tehran and the Israeli Air Defense over Tel Aviv is jarring. Israel has ballistic missile interceptors, Iran is spraying tracer fire into the night sky. There are levels to this shit.

Brian Wilson was a musical genius betrayed by mental illness and exploitative people. He created some of the most haunting and beautiful music while living a painful and tragic life. I hope he's at peace now and I am grateful for the joy he has brought to my life.
