NGC 2976 - the first galaxy of the year.

I photographed this galaxy together with M81 and M82 in March 2025. That photo was one of my first LRGB pictures. Here in a starless mono version.

LBN 729 is a beautiful but very faint nebula.
January and February are nice months to photograph this object in Ursa Major.

3 years ago, in January 2023, I captured this beauty, the comet C/2022 E3.

C/2022 E3 follows a highly elliptical orbit with a period of approx. 50,000 years. It reached its perihelion on January 12, 2023.
