On Monday, we are starting a special gathering as the 6th DRD1 Collaboration Meeting lands in Warsaw - its first edition outside CERN! This global event brings together leading researchers in gas radiation detector development. The countdown is on!

Between September 7th - 18th, we were rooting for Samuel Belayneh while he attended the respected Gran Sasso Hands-on 2025. 💪We are on track with our Astrocent Plus project and excited to see where this journey leads!

We are proud to be part of the DEAP-3600, working to uncover the invisible #darkmatter. The latest meeting took place at Carleton U. on 10–13 Aug, where we shared talks on database management, light/charge collection and detection R&D at Astrocent, and outreach activities.

Dr. André Cortez presented on boosting light collection for next-gen #darkmatter detectors - key for rare-event searches. Great collaboration with University of Coimbra, @Universidade de Aveiro & IGFAE!
Dr. Azam Zabihi (Astrocent/NCAC) is visiting IHEP in Beijing as part of the PROBES Project to work on cryogenic systems and TPC technology. On July 16, she presented a seminar on using xenon-doped liquid argon scintillators for advanced PET scanners in medical physics.
