According to ProPublica, 37-year-old Tierra Walker, living in Texas under an abortion ban, asked doctors multiple times about ending her pregnancy to protect her life, as seizures, skyrocketing blood pressure, and a blood clot pushed her toward preeclampsia. She died at 20 weeks in December 2024.
