I would much rather be represented by drag queens, leather daddies and pups than by petulant cowards afraid of their own reflection. You are talking about people who never had the option of being seen as "normal people who just happen to be gay" and channeled their pain into self expression, community and art. And who are you? You define yourself not in terms of who you are and what you create but in terms of who you are not and what you lack. These people you hate only seem larger than life because your life is too small and insignificant to fit them.

During a hearing today in Texas on the trans bathroom bill, a man publicly threatened in the hearing room to mutilate trans women and cut off their genitalia.

The text quotes a witness from the San Antonio Family Association questioning: “How on earth did we get to the point where men are allowed to go into women’s restrooms and locker rooms and shower with them and nobody can do anything about it?”

The article continues with a man named Jack Finger saying: “I, for one, am tired of that, I won’t put up with it. I’ve seen it at least a couple times in San Antonio, and I was tempted to help that gentleman save money on his transgendered operation by physically helping him get there.”
