one thing that would be cool, when prominent creators turn out to be terrible people, would be if we didn't have to go through this performative dance of insisting that their work was never good in the first place.

Oh yeah, the ending is a little comedic since peole take several stanzas to die. It's kind of like Shakespeare realized he needed to kill the rest of the cast, so it's just one after the other, and then Fortinbras comes in like fucking Don Glover in that one Community gif.

Had this brief flash of anxiety about my fanfic output while doing the dishes, b/c I've been working on other things atm, and oscillating wildly on my feelings about engagement.
Then I saw it was past 11pm and I was like, 'Oh, nevermind. None of these thoughts can be trusted.'

I like to think he still has strong interest on karakul husbandry, but doesn't want to explain why to most people. Pre-Calamity, he might end up helping someone rebuild a corral without prompting and just give a boilerplate explanation if anyone asks, but why he knows is no one's business.
