So I was playing with Lemmy with the laser pointer (he is in love) and I lost track of him in the room. I kept it on over the side of the bed when suddenly.... a mousie toy literally went FLYING OVER THE BED!!

I guess he got a little overexcited!

But there's been very little hissing and no swiping that I've seen. They're all relatively calm whenever they encounter one another (relatively, ha).
I'm really proud of all 4 furbutts.

Lemmy just goes to his safe space on the landing (under a chair in the corner that neither of the dogs can get under easily) and then basically lets them go up to him. He doesn't come OUT of there much when he sees them.

Newt has had Cassie's nose up his bum a few times much like Callie used to do, but he tends to trundle off faster than Lemmy when one of them goes snoot to boop (which of course makes Dale especially try to chase him, because, again, terrier).

Dale gets a little "it's a thing to chase!" excited (because terrier) but Cassie just gets really excited to see them. She's not sure quite HOW to play with them, but she definitely WANTS to play with them. Neither of them is especially accommodating to this plan though!

I have to remember that, even though Newt grew up with dogs for his first 4 years, there were 4 more he WASN'T around dogs, and Lemmy was only around them for about 5 months.

I am perpetually entertained/distressed that in ST: The Search for Spock Sulu was given The Best Outfit Ever (tm) whilst Chekhov they dressed like The Little Dutch Boy (and then had a "continuity error" with the collar ....thing).

I did more of a deep dive and apparently the entire White House is exempted by the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 Amended Section 107.

Am I misremembering or is the White House not a protected historic site that requires Congressional oversight with MULTIPLE approvals to alter the exterior, so as not to compromise architectural integrity?
