It’s hard to believe that #AusUb2025 has already come to an end 😢. Don’t worry though - we’ll still be posting our speaker interviews in the next couple of days.

Here’s what Sonja Lorenz thought of the Australian Ubiquitin Summit. 👇

What a fantastic few days at The *inaugural* Australian Ubiquitin Summit 🤩 #UbiquitinByTheBay

It was fun to contribute behind the scenes in the lead-up, help chair the opening session, host lightning talks, and dive into conversations during the poster session and EMCR panel discussions.

That was our last presentation session at #AusUb2025!!! 🥳We explored the role of #ubiquitin in different diseases, from cancer to chicken pox.

A huge thank you to our final speakers: Sandra Nicholson, Yi-Ching Wang, Anindita Puri and Ruey-Hwa Chen.

🫣 Can you believe that we are at the last day of #AusUb2025?!?!

The second ‘Mechanisms in #Ubiquitination’ session had a focus on deubiquitinases #DUB.

The #EMCR discussion panel wrapped up Day 3 at #AusUb2025 nicely!

If you are a PI, what would be your best advice to the EMCR you? Let us know in the comment!

The last session during the #TPD day at #AusUb2025 explored the Translational Journey of TPD. Gwenn Hansen and Kanae Gamo both gave great talks on the topic.

While the presentations of the day are all finished, the long anticipated EMCR panel discussion is coming next!

How cool was it to hear the ‘From glycogen to ubiquitin and back again’ story from Professor Sir Philip Cohen (FRS FRSE FAA FFMedSci), a pioneer in ubiquitin research.

It was such a pleasure to have him deliver the keynote presentation on Day 1 of #AusUb2025.
