I have been a busy, busy bee this weekend! Scheduling a month of instagram posts and blog posts, writing newsletters, working on my WIP's synopsis, plus a major cooking jag. Whew! I'm exhausted.

So THAT'S why I keep finding fur in my glass of water.

I've spent a good chunk of the day listen to Sanderson's lectures on sf/f. Why have I not listened to these before now? None of it is really new to me, but he elaborates on writing in a way that resonates. And he's funny. To be in his "little" class would be awesome, I think.

I figured out what caused the crick in my neck. I slept on pillow with an inside out pillowcase. I ignored it, and every night I did, my neck hurt. I finally fixed it, and today it's getting better. Logically correlation does not equal causation, but... I dunno. I'm pretty convinced. It's magic.

Doing a deep dive on youtube story structure and outline videos. I've already read a couple of books, but this is my way of productive procrastination. I need to revisit the structure of my fantasy novel WIP, and I'm not sure how I want to do it. So... refresher time!

I just finished Steven King's Fairy Tail. Audiobook, and the narrator was fabulous. But I'm confused by the ending. *spoilers in comments*

While editing I realized that I have two books smooshed into one and for the last three months I've been avoiding it, while I let my manuscript languish. But my critique group expects something in two weeks, so... time to unravel that mofo. I'm scared spitless. What if I screw it up?

I slept wrong and now I have a crick in my neck. I've got one of those shiatsu massager things, which is a blessing. However, my cat Meli keeps attacking it while it's on me because it moves around while it is massaging and it makes funny noises. Not helpful.

I wanna get away from the company that flipped the bird. So I checked out Threads and I thought I'd check out Bluesky, too. If you've tried both, what do you think? Not sure what to make of this place yet...
