Many thanks to this APUK member for the lovely feedback on our peer support service:

“Taking part in the peer support sessions has been brilliant. I was nervous for the first session and not sure what to expect but so glad I did it as it has had a hugely positive impact on me and my parenting.

Following on from last week’s Q&A about #Monotropism, we’d love to know your thoughts about this topic. Monotropism is a neuroaffirming theory of autism that is gaining popularity. It describes a cognitive style characterised by a tendency to focus strongly on a small number of things at a time.

So lovely to read feedback from people who have been through our peer support programme - this is why we do what we do!

“When I first started receiving one to one peer support I was in a really bad place, I had no confidence & found it really hard to be around people.
