Dig some deep digging to find the former tenants of this north-side Chicago church. The B&W image is from 1921, other photos prior to demolition (note the missing cross atop steeple). The lot now holds two homes sold in 2024 for a combined $4.05 million. #abandoned #demolished #history #chicago

Piled up pews inside Our Lady of Fatima before its late 2024 on Chicago’s west side. This 1956 rebuild of another church first closed in 1994 until a Catholic offshoot (World Apostolate of Our Lady of Fatima) leased the space from 2007-2020. It was demolished for a housing development. #abandoned
