This was also a concern. Their benefactor had apparently thought of a lot of pitfalls and dangers that could happen and they had not yet started their adventure.

Still, he felt that spark of thrill. Adventure was looming.

“Do you prefer to fly or take a steamer? Our benefactor gave us the choice of flying or a ship. One gets us there faster but the other gives us the chance to throw off anyone who may be watching us.” -

Even now as they exit the museum he feels a sense of unease. The same feeling he got the first time he set foot on Hamunaptra. His instincts told him they were on to something big. Probably bigger than they were prepared for but that wouldn’t stop him and he was sure it wouldn’t stop Indiana. -

“It’s a risk we’re taking doing this. I know we won’t be the only ones out there searching for it but we’re the only ones with this clue. We’ve got maybe 48 hours before every treasure hunter and tomb robber start to follow us to get their hands on the prize.” -

“I only gamble with my life, never my money. A dig like this is one for the ages. I’m more than ready.”

With a nod to Dr. Jones, Rick starts to lead the way as they walk out of the museum. -

Hat brim low, shoulders squared — there was no mistaking him. Indiana Jones.

Rick’s pulse picked up, excitement tangled with a hint of nerves. This was a man who didn’t just chase legends — he lived them.

Rick gave a nod and offered his hand. “Rick O’Connell.”

Inside, the cool marble floors cut through the day’s heat, and the air carried that heavy silence only ancient artifacts can hold. Rick’s eyes scanned the room, moving past relics of forgotten empires until they landed on a figure standing in the far corner. -
