Feels like a common problem with fandom of long running franchise with multiple entries.
Like they either no longer like it or they are seeing something that isn't there/refuse to see the substance in the things they want to hate.

I cant tell if they are an original manga fan cuz thats where the stigma usually comes from. Maybe I coulda give them a benefit of doubt IF they personally dont vibe with the style despite being anime-only. Idk. I'm just not in a good mood and feel like venting.
