While Henri Sulku has falsely claimed that there is more of a media blackout in Gaza than Ukraine, Syria, Myanmar, etc., he is depending on Israeli security forces catching and releasing him.

I doubt he would put similar trust in Russia, the Janjaweed / RSF, Myanmar, or Assad...

I'm not sure that will be effective electorally or practically.

What Democrats need is for the military vote to continue to be negatively polarized against the Republican Party, whether due to murder on the high seas, National Guard misuse, or majoritarianism.

Really do think national Ds are negligent to not forcefully state "a bunch of people are going to go to prison for this, and if you get unlawful orders and carry them out you should worry that will include you"

I think in this case, he was right.

But my criticism of OBAA is less its politics and more its datedness.

It had little to say about the American right post-2016.

Francis Fukuyama was right insofar as there has been no ideological innovation since the fall of the wall.

It's all rearguard battles (for liberals and social democrats) and regression (for the right).

But the right has pounced on the (divisive) power of gender.
