🔥 The UK gov has identified a legal basis to allow UK forces to board and detain vessels in Russia’s shadow fleet. We welcome this commitment. We also call for sanctions on LNG tankers shipping Russian gas and for secondary sanctions on refineries in India and China that process Russian crude oil.

Shockingly, the UK has allowed its world-leading insurance sector to facilitate nearly half of all Russian refined oil exports, according to @creacleanair.bsky.social. Now, the G7 and EU are considering a FULL BAN on Western maritime services for Russian oil shipments, potentially from early 2026.

Russia’s Arctic LNG exports remain heavily dependent on access to EU ports. This must end. The EU must close the Yamal loophole now. The EU and UK must also ensure that the Arc7 fleet doesn't fall into the wrong hands at the end of the year, propping up Yamal and keeping it alive. bit.ly/3N9YFbb

✈️ New reporting by @theguardian.com and ESCU, a B4Ukraine member, reveals Russia is still importing Michelin aviation tyres through third countries despite Michelin’s exit from the Russian market and attempts to stop the trade.

The French firm must do more to stop illicit re-exports.

B4Ukraine has been declared “undesirable” by Russia for our work to strengthen sanctions and advance the full economic isolation of the aggressor. Moscow’s fear proves the impact of int'l civil society. Our mission remains clear: to block access to the resources fueling Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Russia ordered Raiffeisen to pay $400M, pushing total court-imposed damages above $2.6B, despite the bank’s continued loyalty to Moscow.

The longer Raiffeisen stays in Russia, the higher the cost.

Exit now, write off the assets, and seek int'l legal remedy.

According to ESCU, in 2024, Russia imported over $60M worth of aircraft tires and tire-production materials from China. These components are critical for Su-34 and Su-35S jets used in war crimes in Ukraine. Yet, only 1/9 firms supplying tires to Russia is currently under US sanctions. bit.ly/3YCoP8U

EU moves toward unlocking €210bn for Ukraine—Kremlin responds with threats to nationalise foreign firms.

B4Ukraine has warned: staying in Russia isn’t strategy, it’s risk.

Companies still there profit while taxpayers pay for the war.
The cost must fall on the aggressor.
Exit now.
