Y’know when the characters in a movie go to see a movie and it feels really meta? Well, with an “Ultimate Double Feature,” we play the first movie up until the point when they enter a cinema to watch a different film… then we play that film… then we go back to the first film to finish that story.

Haven't seen this angle mentioned, but it's an extraordinary national security risk to have an anonymous "staffer" impersonating the president of the United States, posting racist memes, from his personal accounts, at 10 PM.
the revelation that Steven Soderbergh & Scott Z. Burns had developed a STAR WARS project for Adam Driver that Disney's leadership failed to greenlight vaguely reminds me of how Radiohead took time to record what should've been a Bond theme for SPECTRE that EON then rejected.

it has taken what could result in my 50th year on earth for me to see a Nick Cave song nominated for Best Original Song at the Academy Awards, yet somehow it is neither the one i most want to win—"i lied to you" from SINNERS—nor the one i think will win & i'd be ok w/ that result—"golden" from KPDH.

just from having seen its trailer, i think the filmmakers behind MERCY (2026) have made a crucial misstep in thinking that ppl would pay to see in a theatre Chris Pratt *NOT* get executed.
as much as i hate how the banner for this petition seems to have been created using genAI, i hate the idea of mobile phones being the sole method for ordering food & drinks during movies at the Alamo Drafthouse even more, so as useless as this is, please consider signing it.
