As a GenX woman with a BA in journalism, it's hard for me to believe that I have that subscription, but have canceled the New York Times and the Washington Post within the past 2 years. Was doing trail maintenance this evening after a rain shower. Worried about mosquitoes, but there weren’t any. Sis drove up from Dallas today - almost no bugs smashed on her windshield.
That’s not normal.

The American Dream. We've been tricked into defining it as moving up financially with bigger, "better" jobs, and bigger, "better" stuff. When it should be this: a life outside of work that brings you joy, and work that affords you the time and resources to access that joy. We can do this.
