McLaren’s Vegas DSQ has reopened the title fight, and Verstappen won’t go down easily. Norris’ lead suddenly looks precarious.

…they couldn’t collapse now, could they?

Red Bull complaining about a works team helping a customer team is just a bit ironic.

Top three in the championship qualify in the top three for tomorrow. Sets things up beautifully - Verstappen is absolutely going to send it into T1.

Pressure lap coming up for Norris. His first time’s been deleted, and he needs a solid lap to make Q3 and avoid creating a headache for tomorrow.

Hamilton just needs to get through the next week and reset over the off-season. The Ferrari move is quickly turning into a nightmare, and I’m not confident the Scuderia can produce a competitive car for 2026. Tough times.

Got to say, I’m not sure these sprint races are bringing anything to the F1.
November 29, 2025 at 2:39 PM
Pretty uneventful sprint race, but Norris and McLaren won’t care. If my maths is right, a win tomorrow would be enough to seal his maiden championship. Max and Red Bull just don’t have the pace right now.

Aston Martin: “Maybe Horner as Team Principal?”

Newey: “No need, I’ll run the show myself.”

It’s official: both McLaren’s disqualified in Las Vegas. 2007 all over again?

Imagine Newey leaves Red Bull to get away from Horner, only for him to be re-installed as his boss. Feels like a move that would only destabilise the Aston Martin project. www.bbc.com/sport/formul...
Christian Horner in running to replace Andy Cowell at Aston Martin
Christian Horner is one of the names in the running to lead the Aston Martin Formula 1 team if Andy Cowell loses his role as CEO and team principal.

Breaching the minimum plank wear is usually a slam dunk. Huge for Verstappen - he’d claw a massive chunk out of Norris’ championship lead. But even with a DQ, surely McLaren can’t lose it from here?

Audi have just revealed their livery - and it’s fair to say I’m underwhelmed…

Thoughts? #F1

If Verstappen pulls off a podium, that would be a sensational drive. He’s had some luck with retirements, but to do it in a straightforward dry race from where he qualified? Outstanding. He just will not go away.

10-second penalty for Piastri! Feels harsh, especially given the leniency shown by the stewards in Mexico. Expect plenty of debate over this one.
November 9, 2025 at 5:30 PM
Seriously unlucky for Leclerc, caught up in someone else’s incident. Interesting one for the stewards - probably a racing incident in my view.

Ferrari’s again playing with danger in qualifying. Currently sitting in P9 and P13 - both must step up to secure a spot in Q3.

That was an outstanding lap from Norris under pressure. Locked up and abandoned his first attempt, but pulled it out the bag on the second. Antonelli again impressive 👏
November 8, 2025 at 7:12 PM
Hamilton’s qualifying struggles continue. He showed good pace in the sprint, but his qualifying form keeps putting him on the back foot.

If I’m not mistaken, that’s Verstappen’s first Q1 exit since Sochi 2021. He’s more than capable of turning it around tomorrow, but surely it’ll be damage limitation?
November 8, 2025 at 6:29 PM
Huge moment in the championship battle - Verstappen out in Q1! That’s going to hurt. I expect he’ll be doing a rain dance for tomorrow. Big opportunity for McLaren to extend their championship lead and put it beyond Verstappen.

People complain about BoP, but look at the racing it produces - three manufacturers, three very different cars, all finding lap time in their own way and going wheel to wheel. Incredible stuff. #WEC

Wow, that’s a big one for hometown hero Bortoleto. Glad he’s okay, that was a huge impact.
