The only real negative thing I’ll say is that intentionally or not, they’re pushing the sentiment that being gay/trans/queer is a choice and something to be ashamed of. I understand that their is safety in choosing Christianity in this current shit show of a political climate. It just really sucks

And I understand detransitioning does happen and people learn new things about themselves all the time. But to “renounce their old lifestyle” to try and fit into a community that will never fully accept them breaks my heart.

I now know two people from college that have detransitioned/renounced being queer in the span of the month bc they came to Jesus and washed away their sins or whatever the fuck. And like, it’s just really fucking sad to see.
