I thought it was wonderful, there will be of course complaints about it "being pushed down our throats" but I swear those types think about gay sex more often than this 55 yr old homo does.

I think the developing romance between Ruari and Paul is so sweet and I am still rooting for Stella and Pip.

I'm ok with that, I like Stella.
I actually quite like Brian as well, He is a complex and flawed man, but like real people, he has some good aspects too. There was a scene a few weeks ago with him, Linda and Lillian that was sweet and kind and warm, three old friends just being friends in the Bull.

I think she'll be back.
I think she'll get the job she's interviewing for, and finds that she hates it because it because managing so many farms disconnects her from everyday farming.
Meanwhile Brian we'll have a minor heart attack and be persuaded to retire, so they will persuade her to return.

They could certianly do with Ruaries help, nearly 2000 acres of land farmed entirely by 81 yr old Brian and now a full time Adam, no wonder Brian is cranky all the time, he must be knackered.

I have been impressed with Ruari, I thought his honest and calm discussions with Stella and Brian today were respectful and with none of the usual Archers drama. Level headed enough to recognise they need Stellas expertise, and not ego driven to think he can solve everything because of London
