Unfortunately you targeting the wrong person. Ofcom are just doing the job they've been made to do. It's peter kyle you need to convince.

"I think it's for the school in Tanzania" she puts the bank notes away and goes straight for the coins instead. I was shocked and all I could think was "oh charming", obviously 1 of the rich parents.

When the service ended we then took our places with our baskets so as the parents came out they were putting in the money but one mother opened her wallet at the bank notes and then asked me "what's this for" me not knowing i said what I thought was the most charitable (cont)

Where the parents attended me and 3 other boys were taken aside as we were walking in to watch from the balcony and then given baskets and told we would be collecting donations, wasn't told what for but when we collected donations it was normally for the school or 1 we sponsored in Tanzania (cont)

I went to a private school for the last 3 years of my education (don't get excited, it was for boys with various disabilities and i'm sure many like me were there on grants and i only did 1 year of sixth form) and I've always had this one story out of it. During one christmas service (cont)

@paulbernal.bsky.social well the bbc is finally telling the discord hack story but naturally no mention of how discord didn't want that data to begin with they only did it because they were forced to by bad laws that should probably be re-looked at www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
ID photos of 70,000 users may have been leaked, Discord says - BBC News
The platform says hackers targeted a firm that helped to verify the ages of its users.

The real problem with the discord story is................ it's discord so no senior MP got hacked so no one in power is going to care.

@paulbernal.bsky.social bit rich of the ICO and ofcom (though don't know why there commenting as it wasn't them) to say imgur pulling out was a commercial decision when the decision was based on how they couldn't commercially operate under the rules they enforce www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Imgur blocks access to UK users after proposed regulatory fine
The image-hosting platform - which is widely used to make memes - was facing a fine over its use of children's data.

It wasn't the OSA but it was the next closest thing, they were being investigated by the ICO ico.org.uk/about-the-ic...
Statement: Update on Imgur investigation

@paulbernal.bsky.social ah, seems the whole thing with imgur had nothing to do with the OSA but the next closest thing, they were being investigated by the ICO ico.org.uk/about-the-ic...
Statement: Update on Imgur investigation

With an hours hindsight since there's no statement from imgur i'm willing to give benefit of the doubt it's just a technical error, or a temp block while they prepare AV to comply with the OSA.

Well then you get another problem where disney could get bought out by an outright MAGA supporting company if it get's too low.
bakura23.bsky.social
Unfortunately disney probably considered that an acceptable loss compared to losing there broadcasting license (and more unfortunately there probably right).
bakura23.bsky.social
Wait, are you serious?
bakura23.bsky.social
i think it's been quite clear it's never been about if it actually worked and whether it look's like there doing something good (with the worst part being how the far-right will campaign against it crying "free speech" undermining real criticism).
