Thank you, @markey.senate.gov for leading the charge in the Senate to garner support for this critical bill. Trans Americans deserve access to essential health care in every state.

We want to make it clear to queer and trans Americans that you have allies in Congress. ❤️
Trans rights are human rights. I’m proud to partner with Representative Balint to protect gender-affirming health care and fight back against relentless MAGA attacks.

Fear is contagious, but so is courage. I remain steadfast in my oath to the Constitution and am grateful to those across the nation who stand with us. Don't give up the ship.

There is only one way to describe welcoming a dictator like MBS to the White House with all the pomp and circumstance: moral rot.

Trump is threatening the safety of my colleagues for trying to uphold the rule of law and obey the Constitution.

The President of the United States is pushing violent rhetoric against elected officials. This is extremely dangerous language and needs to be forcefully called out.
Trump is now seeming to endorse execution for his perceived enemies — retweeting a post that called for the hanging of Democrats who told servicemembers to refuse illegal orders.

He also claims the Dems are engaging in 'seditious behavior'.

Republicans have no plan for health care, and they never have.

I’ll give you a plan: Medicare for All.

Democrats are not giving up the fight for every American to have affordable health care

Powerful men protect powerful men. I voted to release the Epstein files and send a message to all victims of trafficking and sex abuse that we stand with you. The American people deserve to see what’s in the files.

The Senate must send this to the President’s desk immediately.
BREAKING:

The House just passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, 427-1.

Republican Clay Higgins was the lone 'no' vote.

I'm on my way to Michigan to join a town hall with Rep. Rashida Tlaib in the district held by GOP Rep. John James. Working people are living through an affordability crisis and House Republicans are turning a blind eye. They're not showing up for their constituents, so we will.

The VP is wrong. This isn’t about immigration. This is pure scapegoating. The reason housing is so expensive is because Trump refuses to hold greedy corporations accountable. In fact he emboldens them.
JD Vance: "One of the biggest challenges that we have in the housing market, aside from too many illegal aliens who are taking the houses of American citizens, is that in the blue states you're not building enough houses."

This is what you get when you sell out your supporters for a handful of billionaires with every decision you make.

Free advice: do what's right for working people.

The only thing a 50-year mortgage would "solve" is to get CEOs of big banks their 5th home and new yacht. Give me a break.

These people need to get their hands off programs that feed hungry kids. Don't talk to us about corruption when Trump is in the White House building a ballroom, throwing Great Gatsby parties, and bragging about covering the Oval Office in gold (which by the way looks gaudy!)
Brooke Rollins: "SNAP is a broken program. SNAP is full of corruption. We found 186,000 dead people."

No, I will not be voting for a bill that significantly raises people's healthcare premiums.

Good. I don't need a court to tell me my marriage is valid. After 21 years with Elizabeth, I KNOW it is.

This “deal” is a bad deal for Americans. These pinky promises from Republicans won’t save anyone’s healthcare. We can’t just surrender and leave working people worse off. It’ll be a no from me.

Under Biden, the IRS launched a program for people to file their taxes FOR FREE (finally!)

Well, Trump ended it because TurboTax donated $1 million to him. This White House is just one big grift while the rest of us pay more for everything.
The IRS is reportedly not offering its Direct File program next year. Here’s a look back at how TurboTax owner Intuit spent two decades fighting to prevent Americans from filing their taxes online for free:

Inside TurboTax’s 20-Year Fight to Stop Americans From Filing Their Taxes for Free
Using lobbying, the revolving door and “dark pattern” customer tricks, Intuit fended off the government’s attempts to make tax filing free and easy, and created its multi-billion-dollar franchise.

Trump wanted to get away with starving people for his political gain but this isn’t a game. It’s real people’s lives. Kids will miss meals. People need SNAP funded now.

Turns out Americans want our First Amendment rights protected. We want good and affordable health care. We want a government that works for us, not against us.

Trump has the power to fund SNAP with the contingency funds. The White House MUST comply with the judge's order immediately so millions of families don't go hungry.
A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to pay SNAP benefits out of a contingency fund.

About 1 in 8 Americans receive SNAP food stamps and would have been harmed by the lapse in funding.

The ruling came one day before funding for SNAP, more commonly known as food stamps, was set to lapse.

I heard Mike Johnson has been lying saying Democrats are nowhere to be found in DC. That's rich coming from him, the exact person who has kept the House of Representatives closed since September 19.

Mike Johnson, we are ready & waiting for you to call the House back. Stop with the lies and games.

I’m absolutely heartbroken for the family of Lia Smith and the Middlebury College Community. As a parent, I’m crushed by this news and grieving for her parents and loved ones. The loss of a child is unimaginable. The community will remember Lia as a bright student, talented athlete, and friend.

So proud of Genesis and all the young people who are being called at such a young age to protect their families against ICE and Trump’s terror campaigns.

Like Genesis said, we will get through this together. But it’s going to take every single one of us standing up for our neighbors and rights.
