The last thing you need to run an event is software. However, the reason I run Balkan Ruby is that I enjoy writing Ruby. Today, the code powering the Balkan Ruby CMS (the "C" stands for "Conference") is open-sourced under the MIT license.

Of course, I ran around the stunning Sofia while I was there 😍 I had never seen so many pretty flowers, and the metro stations continue to be my all-time favourites (even more than Stockholm's)
