The Republicans have seen war as a political tool for over 80 years, war remains their go to when the political heat, and condemnation is rising. I'm expecting another war is coming, but this time the target will be a helpless third world nation. So we can finally "win" a war.

Mental Illness runs in my family, it gives you perspective on what cutting funds for mental health really means. The politicians responded to psychoactive drugs the way the corporate world is responding to AI, to hell with the people! We can save money! And then give it to the rich.

Obama remains cool, competent and strong, here he speaks truth, but is perhaps too mild in his assessment. What we are seeing is an effort to end democracy, and their starting with obvious contempt for the rule of law.

And it is a very deliberate problem, starting with Regan's tax cuts for the rich and culminating in Trump The Destroyer. The Fascists always feed the rich, and do away with the ones who do not bow down before them. As a reminder on occasion an Oligarch "falls out of" a third floor window as well.
