P2/3 in Room 4 made these superb autumnal pieces of artwork 🍁 🍂. We used watercolours for the background and then fine black pens to create our patterns. Fabulous work everyone ⭐! #BankheadWillSOAR

Room 1 have been learning about the vowel 'a'. They have been identifying words which start with 'a' and been working on their letter formations. This afternoon they have also been talking about things that make them happy #BankheadWillSOAR

Primary 2/3 worked very hard this week on rounding numbers to the nearest ten. We all enjoyed posting our number envelopes into the ‘rounding’ up and down boxes. We also learned a rhyme to help us when choosing the right way to round. We are all superstars! ✏️📮⭐️ #BankheadWillSOAR

P2/3 enjoyed reading a new story today called ‘How many sleeps ‘til Halloween?’ The boys and girls had also used an illustration from the book yesterday to write a description and Mrs Alexander was very impressed (and spooked!) by how fantastic these were. Well done, Room 4! 🎃👻

Room 11 have been learning more about Dyslexia during Dyslexia Awareness Week. We took notes after watching videos on Newsround to spread awareness of the stories, challenges and successes of people with Dyslexia. #DAW25 #BankheadWillSOAR
