doi.org/10.1042/BCJ2... : Ariane and Audrey-Anne have tested the effects of omega-based pharmaco-nutraceutical combinations on the anti-cholestatic and anti-fibrotic properties of low doses of Ocaliva, a drug that was approved but then withdrawn in Europe for the PBC treatment.

En conclusion: que l’on change de système vers l’utilisation de banque de données publiques et gratuite ou chaque groupe de recherche devrait déposer le résultat contextualisé de ses expériences.

Il faut d’ailleurs arrêter de croire que la révision par les pairs est un gage de qualité. Dans ce domaine comme partout ailleurs, il y a de la politique. Le seul gage de qualité pour la recherche s’appelle la reproductibilité des observations!

Les Nature, Cell, Sciences et al. ne publient que les résultats positifs. Alors qu’un résultat négatif reste un résultat. En d’autres mots la grande majorité de la science ne peut être communiquée par publication…

Et la publication des résultats négatifs? La recherche est basé sur l’essai/erreur. Donc la vaste majorité de ce qui est fait dans les labos se solde par un échec.

On critique les journaux prédateurs sans jamais remettre en cause le racket exercé par le business des maisons d’éditions scientifiques qui exploitent le travail des chercheurs dans un business modèle basé sur l’argent public.
