Getting up at 4 a.m. to get to my office by 8 a.m. three days in a row is soul draining. I cannot focus on anything but maximizing sleep. Everything else must be on the back burner for now.

But all my creative thoughts haven't gelled yet. The last few weeks haven't been fun at the #BrownBakery. Due to #ForcedFun #Volunteering until like ten o'clock at night, I've had to shift my #WorkFromHome days to Monday and Friday.

The only outstanding task is decorating my index card box. I'm pondering ideas. Remember that time I drove everyone absolutely nuts by hammering in 1,001 furniture tacks in a fun design into the exterior basement hatch-door that I rebuilt? I'd like to do something like that, I think.

I've been using the #IndexCardSystem for about a month now, and all is well. My house has never been cleaner, I'm exercising more consistently, and I have an overall sense of harmony and quiet about all the small things in life. So yay!

#MrK makes me jumpy when he yells at his phone trying to make it talk to my tv. After his flipping out for the 100th time, I wrote the instructions on a note and put it in my tv remote box. #LiveInTheLight

I don't use body wash to wash my body but like to use it as hand soap in my bathroom pumps. I found one that smelled like mint candy. I might be going there more often to buy staples like baggies and cleaning supplies. Inflation is off the charts and I ain't playin' anymore.

They also had neat pre-mixed cans of tuna with crackers. For example, "rosemary and olive oil" or "lemon and curry" etc. There were a lot of whacky food items that I'd never seen before. I might try those in-a-pinch for food on-the-go. They had a lot of fun scented body washes.

#MrK spent some time browsing #DollarTree. I usually only go there for one thing - puzzles - and haven't spent much time looking around. They have so much stuff! I was amazed by all of the craft supplies, including Cricut vinyls and stickers.

I saw an ad for a puzzle that is double sided. Namely, each piece could go to either side, and you don’t know until finished. What? I cannot imagine how this would be fun for me. I’d probably burn it up in a bonfire.

I’m in that weird halcyon time when it’s 40 degrees outside but still strangely 70 degrees in #NappyKnolls. I don’t yet need heat. I know snow is coming and I’ll be wrapped in a comforter like a burrito for months soon.
