So far QAnon has violently attacked Congress, shot up a family pizza restaurant full of innocent, terrified kids, and ignored an actual underage trafficking ring. Might be the dumbest group of Americans in history.

As an actor, I went by Bart, as a musician Barton.

Yes, I was the violinist in the orchestra pit of an Edgar Allen Poe play where I acted in the lead role.

I would finish my lines and then jump into the orchestra pit and play spooky violin to end the scene, wearing a fake moustache. Haha

I'm guessing it's because of television, internet, etc, but this is not something that human beings are capable of anymore.

Every culture has a "bogeyman" character to scare children into behaving. Across the board, it's universal.

I like watching Tim Miller because he's one of the few people online that isn't insane.

There is an epidemic of arm injuries with MLB pitchers happening. Most say due to increased spin rate and high velocity pitching. Imagine how great Michael Kopech could have been had he pitched in the 70s.

Creatives who innovate IP have no power, I get it.

But couldn't they use AI to replace Google, and Meta's algorithm, use it to create millions of other websites based on their IP with same impunity Silicon Valley has for creators?

This is possibly the future battlefield.

Paul Giamotti reprises his role as John Adams in Ken Burns' Revolutionary War documentary.

(And no, Adams didn't like Merlot either)

It's one of TV's great mysteries why the cast on Chicago Fire have New York accents instead of Chicago accents.

Great mystery.
December 8, 2025 at 6:57 PM
Great TV is being made on streaming services. You would never have a show like Severance on TV.

But once you love a show, you have to wait until an entirely different era of your life to watch the next season. Production on these shows are not fast.

Like Ozark, Black Rabbit opening graphic contains 3-4 visual clues about what will occur in the episode.

It's just like those dreams where you see a couple objects from what will happen during the upcoming day. Y'all have that too, right?

The problem with Hall of Fames is, sort of similar to the AI snake eating tail issue.

Eventually, you run out of content, so to keep the business going, you just let everyone into the Hall of Fame.
December 8, 2025 at 6:29 PM
The AI craze does not seem to be taking into account that it's a snake eating it's own tail.

The vein from which it mines is not infinite and will dry up as soon as AI causes the ceasing of replenishing.

That goldmine is going to run out of gold.

Black Rabbit. Amazing acting. Amazing cinematography. Pretty sad story.

I do wonder if we'll see writers and directors move toward feel good escapism. Terrible times used to spark happy art:

Think post-war Disney.

You can't really watch some shows now because of current reality nightmares.

Chicago is the #3 sports market in the county. To have a franchise for 125 years and allow it to be neglected this bad is a tragedy. White Sox could be a dynasty like the Yankees.
