I did like 5 a lot. When 6 came out, I turned my nose at it. Mostly because the art style was such a huge departure, but mechanically 6 was super undercooked on release.
I did buy 6 on sale recently with all DLCs and started playing it and I'm pleasantly surprised how much I like it.

The Civ games are pretty stupidly deep. To the point of being a bit overwhelming at times. I think I played 5 the most, and now that I think about it, I don't think I even touched halfs the wonders in it lol

I sure would hope so! The only reason I bought it was cause it was in the recommendations of a Brazilian youtuber's shopping/deals text chat. Then I used it and turns out to be way worse than the Harios for not that much savings.
It only had 3 reviews on Amazon, so I'm gonna tank the rating lol

It is, yes. The last time something like that happened, I got pissed off and added an extra long piece of dialogue where my MC and his boyfriend talk about what their type would be and my MC directly asks what kind of women the guy likes, so he goes in detail. I was cackling to myself while writing

Hadn't seen your post yesterday, but I think that's a pretty BS attitude on their part. Like, yes, I get it. I am a gay man, so while I'm not attracted to women, that doesn't mean I'll throw a fit over artists drawing it and not pandering solely to me. FFS.
