If PHX gets win on Friday, that’s nice but the 2025 WNBA Champs will be the Aces

The MVP will be A’ja.

They just have a stronger, deeper team from 1 to bench & PHX has had trouble matching up all season and again here in the Finals

PHX is asking a lot of Akoa too. Again, Aces guards are top tier & they’re showing that vs PHX.

Lynx could match speed, even size.
Liberty could when not injured.

AT had to run the offense AND cover the switch on drives to the paint.

Tibbets should stretch bench with Aces have Meg, Smith, or Kiah in flor. Bring in Mack, Brown, switch Westbeld, and give yourself chances at stops & rebounds.

PHX settles too much on 1 shot. Seems like Aces are getting all the rebounds

I fell bad for Westbeld because that’s a tough assignment. 1 on 1 cover vs Aja.

DB ok because A’ja isn’t a power only player, but you’re asking a lot of the veteran too.

PHX has Mack & Brown. Get some use out of those 6 fouls & slow game down.

Copper is 1 of 1, but she’s outnumbered. PHX can count on her. But you’re going against Chelsea, Jackie, and even Dana night after night. Jewell being scrappy on D too.

You can stop one or slow one down. You’re not getting all of them.

Satou. WTH. They make so many undisciplined mistakes which is wild for a German player. It’s fine during full season with ups & downs.

In Finals with limited games, gotta clean up the turnovers, the bad shots, the slow defense.

It feels like AT has to cover a lot of team mistakes

Teams like the Lynx & Liberty were built with deep benches. PHX has a strong 5. Their bench is not & it shows against Aces, especially.

Whitman is good on D. It’s cone drills vs Dana’s speed. Outmuscled by Jackie. Out studbutt by Chelsea.

So that sharp shooter is neautralized

There is no answer for A’ja. She is rightly the MVP for reason. PHX does not have an answer & that’s ok. Plan should have been limiting damage from others.

They didn’t expect Jewell to have a big game. Or Dana.

The #WNBA Finals has been great. Both teams have had great stories with this season. Aces were off to a terrible start and rattled off 16 straight wins, get 2nd seed, & fight for a chance at title.

PHX had a great run behind AT and get them back to Finals

I’ve seen folks say now is not the time to criticize Schumer & Jeffries because Democrats need the whole tent to fight back.

Forgive me, but I think it’s valid to kick out ineffective leadership and bring on some real fighters.
