@transportforlondon.bsky.social is advising Barnes residents that Lonsdale Road will be closed in both directions between Kilmington Road and Verdun Road from 1-21 April for Thames Water works.  All buses using Lonsdale Road (419, 533, 33, 209 and 485) will be diverted via local roads.

Cadent Gas is attending a gas leak in the footway at Barnes Station. A pedestrian walkway has been installed in the carriageway and traffic is being managed by two way temporary traffic lights. Expected completion date 12/03. For further info contact Cadent Gas on 0800 0159 057

With the recent upgrade works, Barnes Station has gained new lifts and a footbridge for step-free access. Part of the Orchard on Barnes Common was used as a site camp during the works and will now become a haven again for butterflies as well as reptiles & other inverts buff.ly/Jx2TRUy

It’s back!!! After months of lobbying, South Western Railway has reinstalled the bike ramp they removed earlier this year. We would like to thanks our local councillors and our MP Sarah Olney for all their help. Common sense prevails!
