Now it’s our turn.
To protect what was won.

Their courage reminds us: rights aren’t permanent.
They’re defended through action.
When we show up—at the polls, in our communities, in conversations—we honor the women who paved the way.
For women like the Soohoo Louie family, civic participation wasn’t guaranteed—it was earned.
They challenged exclusion, faced prejudice, and built bridges between communities to claim a rightful place in democracy.
The fight for voting rights was never just about access to the ballot.
It was about dignity, voice, and representation.
Every vote cast by a woman today carries the weight of generations who refused to be silenced.
“I’m really proud of my mom and all of the powerful women who have come before me—who fought for the rights that we have.” — Aileen Louie

F.D.A. Approves Generic Abortion Pill as Opponents Push Trump for New Restrictions

“The FDA did its job — evaluating evidence and approving a safe, effective medication.”
— Mini Timmaraju, Reproductive Freedom for All
The approval comes as anti-abortion activists pressure the Trump administration to restrict abortion medication.
But experts say the FDA’s move was based on science, not politics.
Nearly two-thirds of abortions in the U.S. are now medication-based.
Access to these pills — especially through telemedicine — has kept abortion care available even after Roe v. Wade was overturned.
The FDA just approved a new generic version of the abortion pill mifepristone — expanding access at a critical moment for reproductive rights.
