Once this happens, an industry stops being creative and ingenuous. They become shills, no longer challenging or pushing back against the stale status quo.

In a sense cowardly and risk averse.

This is how I see the current simp situation in tech and its lack of creativity

The thing about mediocre men is that they like to be near success with the hopes it will trickle down on them instead of actually having to earn it.

They end up becoming boot lickers. And boot lickers get rewarded with promotions and raises. They’re put in charge despite a lack of abilities.

In the late 80’s and early 90’s we ended up with an over abundance of lawyers in this country. A lot of mediocre young men didn’t know what to do with their lives so they chose a career that had the promise and whiff of prestige and wealth.

Fast forward and apply that to the tech industry today.

AI is always used by the clowns that liked the idea of calling themselves a writer or an artist but are too lazy to put in the work.

I saw this in the 90’s with film. A lot of young men who wanted to make films and thought they had amazing “ideas” quickly quit when they realized it involved work

Alien Earth is now the second Hulu show to use Animal by Pearl Jam and it’s fucking great.

Last issue Tabby and Jon decided to put some distance between him and the town--did it work??
