Sorry Hippie Grandpa, I won’t cave on this one. Until now, the US has followed each country’s laws. It has been a thing since the revolutionary war that we would never again allow another country to have a foothold here, it’s an American thing. Being a super power allows you that.

ICE pepper-sprayed him, dragged him from his car, locked him in a detention center, and placed him on suicide watch. He even missed his young daughter’s birthday in the process.
