Vladimir Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov is clearly David Moyes in a terrible disguise

What is the correct etiquette about making jokes about traitors on here? It is just a no go territory because of spoilers? Is there a statute of limitations? Can they be non-spoiler visual gags?

Guardian journalist Matthew Cassel visited Tel Aviv - known as Israel's liberal capital - to ask people what they think of the suffering in Gaza. It's truly depressing. Even at an anti-war march. It just proves that propaganda really does work. Kudos to the guy at the end.

I can taste the panic these two felt doing their little stencilling. So casual with ‘own goal’ thinking they had all the space in the world. Look at the chasm between own and goal! Then sudden panic about whether there’s enough room for ‘Neville’. Eventually settling for ‘Nev’ after a crisis meeting

One day everyone will accept Netanyahu to be pure evil. It will be a mainstream consensus. At that point he will be used as a convenient sponge for all the crimes against humanity that have been perpetrated in his time. As if it all started and ended with him. Always remember - it was never just him

Not having a go at all here but I feel like the use of “underfunding” in these situations is so passive and removes responsibility - the decisions are deliberate and the consequences (to the most vulnerable typically) are known well in advance. But it can now be swept up under a fiscal issue

This is utterly heartbreaking. Too sad for words. A direct result of underfunding the NHS.

When it comes to intimidating racist protests including outside our homes or place of worship, Black and Asian people are supposed to just accept it and the government saying “we hear you” and “it is right to protest this” and “I love flags me”. No thought of “cumulative impact” for us!

NEW: Home Office announces planned new anti-protest powers, mainly aimed at pro-Gaza protests like those for Palestine Action. Police will be able to consider the "cumulative impact" of repeated protests and potentially order that they be relocated.

A running theme this season is managers not dropping senior players who deserve to be dropped and being punished.

Isak is a fine player no doubt but he's a bit petulant. Loves an arsey arm flap when he doesn't get the pass he wants. Rooney used to do that all the time to Nani and it doesn't really help anyone's confidence
