I’ve been feeling big time imposter syndrome lately. Today I forced myself to take a step back and recognize my own competence. It struck me that having areas where I need to improve doesn’t make me an imposter, it makes me human, and I’ve got to give myself grace for that.

This was my single favorite read of the year. I think about it all the time. I loved the humor and the style of the writing. It just pulled me in, and lives rent free in my head.
Book 29: The Wedding People
This is my favorite first-time-read of this year so far. I absolutely love the author’s writing style, and the story just hit home so hard. It’s dark and funny and sincere. CW: suicidal ideations.

Found some dvds of photos at work from the now defunct hometown paper my old boss owned (run by my oldest brother lol). Some of them had photos of school stuff I did in high school. This was my senior year when I played J. Pierrepont “Ponty” Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
