George Harrison adds vocals to The Inner Light, and saxophones are overdubbed onto Lady Madonna.

The Beatles begin filming the Penny Lane promo.

They ride horses down Angel Lane and across a car park in Stratford, London. John Lennon is filmed walking alone, and meeting the rest of the group by the Theatre Royal.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono swap a bag of their hair for Muhammad Ali's bloodstained boxing shorts!

The hair is donated to raise money for The Black Centre in London, run by civil rights activist Michael X (Michael de Freitas).
