Strawberry Fields, a 2.5 acre section of New York's Central Park dedicated to John Lennon, opens on what would have been his 45th birthday.

The singles are hugely influential to the young Lennon: Hound Dog by Elvis Presley; and the Ying-Tong Song by the Goons, written by Spike Milligan.
