Nice that this post was in all caps.🙄 Yelling something untrue definitely doesn’t make it more true — no matter what politicians claim. Look at the Maine Senate race. Janet Mills is the endorsed Democratic candidate (supported by Schumer & the Democratic Party) over Graham Platner.
David Hogg wanted to primary people and was pushed out of the DNC because of it. His PAC, Leaders We Deserve, is endorsing candidates that are running in opposition to the DNC supported primary candidates.
Ok So Mike Johnson says she should be in the office and working. Can she just start doing that? He’s said she has the right. Just start doing it and act like the swearing in has happened.
Current teacher here. When I started at my district (2007), we were paid $14228 a year more, when adjusted for inflation. We make less now than we did 18 years ago. 😕
She’s a sweet gal to us - but only like others from a safe distance. Lol. Not a new take, but dogs are the best of companions. Give yours a pat for us!
He’s just so damn good at this. I saw someone point out anyone <30 had never seen a political candidate that’s so full of hope, charisma, enjoyment of people, & the use of fun in a campaign. This has been an exhilarating change. Those of us >30 may be more cynical but are reminded of better days.
In the DC area, there are soooo many unemployed Fed workers (& those that are working in places with dismal morale) that every job opening has tons of applications. There just aren’t enough jobs to move to - which makes job searching even more demoralizing than usual.
It’s terrible that these men and women have been pulled from their families to pick up trash… and? There’s not even much for them to pick up. See how empty their bags are?
EMOLUMENTS CLAUSE!! I almost hate the weakness of our Legislative Branch almost as much as I hate the orange man himself. I wish they’d remember they are listed first — in Article 1 — for a reason.
They’ve moved to a bastion of liberalism. I teach in the school system. The school & county leaders are strong advocates for its citizens/students. There are tons of anti-Trump rallies each week. And our governor has spoken against the federal control of DC. I hope your friends feel welcomed here.
