sometimes i think about how dakota texted elysen to check up on her and was like "are you okay? what happened?" and sent silly gifs to her and the response of the rest of the players was SHES TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED SO SHE CAN SPREAD RUMORS ok. you guys hate her so bad you look stupid

its really hilarious to me that like... we're at such an early point in the story that my friends all think she's this deceptive and two-faced person... she's actually genuinely one of the most goodhearted people in this story. giggles...
paisley and dakota's relationship is written from my own beliefs about intimacy and love and care and human connection so yeah it makes sense,,, dakota is written to be someone who would be so genuinely and dearly your friend and that's really important to me... +

the thing is even if i don't draw dakota a lot WOW she's so fem here. where was i. she's become a really strong comfort for me because she's a representation of a lot of my beliefs and also a pillar of stability in a way... +

i've been thinking a lot about working on ingrid's fashion because she's always occupied vintage gothic but i also wanted to weave in elements of viet phuc in there as well. also bird and butterfly elements... building my visual library....

as a side note i've found a lot of joy in engaging more with black culture and learning things... like i listen to songs by black artists and i'm like paisley would love this and she Would listen to this. im becoming more aware of what artists are black and what black sound is and it's awesome

although i can't say that the entire reason i like paisley is because shes freakish though. she's also just a really intrapersonal dialogue about the horrors of queerness and transness and girlhood which really is still freakology just in a broader sense. embrace freakisms, kill normativity

i find it funny the idea that my friends/players are aware that paisley is my favorite npc but they don't really think about why. so when # That party session hits they're going to be like ohhh so That's why she's your favorite. and they're going to learn a lot about me. +

paisley is. vegan so... at first i was like aw man so she can't go eat kbbq/hot pot but then i thought about it and i was like you know what. in a fantasy world they definitely have better substitutes for meat like magical roots and stuff that taste a lot like it. +

one of my friends plays a paladin in my campaign and my girlfriend likes to joke that her and paisley have a sort of knight and lady dynamic but unfortunately you cannot outknight dakota when it comes to paisley. quite literally an impossible task

their phone wallpapers are probably also disgustingly each other too. actually i think recently they've both changed it so pepper's in it (atp she's like their adopted daughter) but it used to be really each other centric. i wonder what else i can make them match with...
the thing that's so funny to me is the signs that paisley and dakota are very close has been subtly hidden in plain sight all along and my players have yet to pick up on it... they wear each other's colors in jewelry and also the charms on paisley's bag...
