Why No Kings protests so popular

People’s issues varied from person to person

People were joined in their anger with others. So nice not to be alone

But #1 reason it was successful is people are angry and haven’t had a way to peacefully show that anger

A shell detonated prematurely sending shrapnel toward Interstate 5 & CA Highway Patrol

Administration had said“no public safety concerns” about event

He wants to cut cost of govt while also cutting taxes for wealthiest

Not spending $ we don’t have (cutting cost of govt) doesn’t lower Nat Debt

Cutting tax revenues means less $ (if any) to apply to Nat Debt

DoD Sec tried to have all news org agree to not report anything that has not been approved by DoD

All but 1 refused to sign 21 page agreement, resulting in they losing Pentagon press pass
