It seems he said that it's harder to win the 6N because there's only 5 games, so you have to win them all to claim the title, whereas it's possible to lose a pool game & still win the RWC. But that's pretty rare, while ~50% of 6N winners don't get the grand slam, so it's just flawed logic all round.

From the loss at Ellis in August, when there were people writing them off, and even calling for coaches to resign, to winning what has undoubtedly been the best ever Rugby Championship today, and becoming the first Bok side to go back-to-back. I'm so flipping proud of this team!

I wish they'd found a way to integrate the logo better - maybe making it white, like the Boks did on their training top. The red just doesn't read well on top of all those colours.

There's so much joy and community in women's rugby. But it's not just hearts and flowers and hairbows. There's also all the physicality and strategy we love. The RWC may be over for our Bok Women, but this should only be the start, as we look to grow the game.

Yeah, that red card was a massive blow, both during the game and for the playoffs if she gets banned. And Nadine is an absolute legend, she looks like she can just keep going forever, but we can't play her into the ground. Hopefully she's okay for Saturday.

I think it makes sense. Realistically, they were pretty unlikely to beat a full strength France to top the pool, so why not rest some key players and ensure their availability for a QF they'd already qualified for.

A brutal return to earth for the Springbok Women, but there's a reason France has won six previous RWC bronze medals. We go again next week. A QF against current title holders (and six time winners), the Black Ferns, will not be any easier, but this team is nothing if not gutsy.

This is it. The biggest game of the year. Our fiercest and favourite rivalry. Both sides with a point to prove, and a desire to extend or smash a record. My head says it could go either way, but it'll be tough in the ABs' fortress. My heart? My heart says this Bok team can do it.
