Someone please tell me the angle of the scammers that email wanting to “purchase” work (with a check no less) yet asking for details such as seen in these phishing scams. Just to waste my time? See how gullible I am? Will they propose a money transfer if I provide my account details? Disgusting.

Time to change my website payment processor to ANYTHING ELSE. Unfortunately my Squarespace tech friend tells me that their own branded processor still uses Stripe for payments on some level, they just don’t disclose that. This is what monopolies look like. We are in a new robber baron era.

I lived on Capitol Hill for a while in a building with a bunch of interns. They told me they tally ALL forms of contact on any given issue & it does make a difference. So I don’t think it matters: email vs phone call. It gets counted. In DC I had no representation- now I do. I use #resistbot #resist

I often think about everything floating up inside Marquee & how it became this weird muddy art soup mixing all our dreams and work together. We are stronger than destruction. We will overcome.

To clarify, I didn’t have neck pain at all. Looking down over time pinches nerves & cushioning between vertebra out, -> arm pain/weakness is the result. Manual therapy (ASTYM) did nothing. Strengthening didn’t get results. It took about 2 months of PT with one basic exercise. Better now! Good luck🍀

I was in PT for arm pain presenting as tennis elbow. No success or improvement until the 3rd PT who, taking points from what didn’t work previously, started treating my neck. It was all coming from my neck from looking down all the time. We potters look down a lot! A simple exercise has been the fix

It’s true though exactly how long it will take will also depend on funds. Super nice thing is they’ll be giving those of us who vended there dibs on our original spaces. So when we come back our customers will see us in our familiar spot 🥰

This is in #quadskating a “full cab” attempt. A fakie (backwards) 360 landing on coping. The toe boost is a cheat, & ain’t the trick (but is cute).
I can do this landing on 1 foot, & 180 to 2, or 2 feet land then 180 to coping.
But airing & landing the 360 clean (& consistently) is the real trick!

I turn 50 this year. I started rollerskating in skate parks at age 40.
When I learned about I was bored with my regular skating & was inspired by others taking off, no longer bound to flat surfaces! It was so exciting & liberating!

Anyone else stuck in functional freeze? I swear I shut down every January after the stress of the holiday season & w/ the stress of having to focus on taxes & financials. I’m trying to do better at all this but this past show season was doozy here in flood-struck western NC 😣 I’m not even making rn

My cat loving her new heated pet pad. Honestly I wish I had got this for her sooner!
