this article is really interesting, and it's the first time I've personally heard the term 'northern gothic' mentioned. It's something i thought about a lot writing Maisie Marra. It's funny how different it sounds, Richie's stuff is incredible, but really cool it's from the same core idea.
It’s still so weird to me that somebody made an internationally critically acclaimed concept album about the small, horrible place I went to school in.
I guess if I’m completely honest I’m slightly annoyed it wasn’t me!
