And here we have the problems of the Libs laid bare.... by none other than our favourite retiring Lib. My thoughts are 'perhaps it's the quality of the Lib female candidates as well'!

Liberal senator Linda Reynolds slams party after loss, highlights woman problem
Retiring Liberal senator Linda Reynolds labels the party's federal election campaign a "comprehensive failure", blasting it for not doing more to increase female representation.

Jacinta Price is being graceful once again, and cannot see that the LNP were absolutely shit in their campaigning!

Do these people not pay any attention. There was a Royal Commission into CSA which I believe also included aboriginal children, (happy to be corrected). RC's cost $millions, money that would be better of used for implementing the recommendations of the RC. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-04...
Coalition candidate diverges from Jacinta Price on royal commission call
Lisa Siebert has called for the Liberal Party's proposed royal commission into child sexual abuse in Indigenous communities to be expanded to all Australian children.

Interest rates - just reading an article about the rejoicing if interest rates are cut, people will want to borrow more money to get a better house. If you have learnt nothing from this experience of interest rates going up, creating mortgage stress, you shouldn't be then bleating how hard it is.

How can Basil Zempalis remain as lord mayor of Perth City but run as a Liberal Candidate in the state election. Surely he must step aside a Mayor?

I am an adult.... straightening up my wardrobe ( i am now committed to it because I now have a massive mess)🤦‍♀️. Have finished all my Christmas sewing, summer pudding is made and being squashed down in the fridge. I have 4 books to read, I think that may be next thing to start.

I would like to announce that I have made all my Christmas gifts, in doing so I have supported small home businesses in my mission and it is such a relief not to have to wander aimlessly through shopping centres trying to find gifts.

My new hero is ABC's Chris Taylor for his question to Chris Minns. I wonder how long it will be before he disappears from the air waves?

OMG, has anyone higher up in Aus post/StarTrak tried to find out a parcel that was a 'non delivery - you weren't home'. I am home and nobody has tried to deliver anything to me this morning. I can feel my blood pressure rising. 😡😡
